The British Columbia Chef’s Association is dedicated to the education of both junior members and the upgrading skills of regular members. As well, annual scholarships are given out to deserving students who distinguish themselves in the culinary field in schools and institutions throughout the lower mainland. Money for these scholarships is raised through fund raising activities and through generous corporate donations. Other activities that this Association takes part in include Annual Christmas Parties, the President’s Ball, Apprentice Competitions, Local and National Conventions, Culinary Salons and other events to publicize the work of the professional chefs and cooks in British Columbia.
