Cumberland Academy of Georgia was founded by a mother seeking a school for her Asperger's Syndrome child. It helps high-functioning Autism, ADD, ADHD students. Over 8 years, it attracted students from Atlanta and nearby counties, offering college prep and vocational tracks, integrating social and life skills. Students enjoy art, PE, music therapy, outings, and more. Accredited by SACS CASI, using Georgia Performance Standards Common Core.
