The Select Series Cabernet Sauvignon is the latest release in our Select Series line-up of estate-allocated wines where our Winemaker selects some of the most notable barrels of the vintage to craft these age-worthy, yet approachable wines that best express the intention of the vintage. Aged in 95% new French oak, the Select Series Cabernet Sauvignon underscores the perfect balance between fruit concertation and tannin structure. Initially, the 2018 Select Series Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits aromas of black currant, blueberry and wildflowers on the nose, leading into more savory notes of clove, nutmeg and sweet leather. This beautiful wine has amazing energy complete with a seamless tannin structure and long finish. Flavors of dark red cherry, mocha, and plum are met with hints of minerality and spice.
