AIC supplies unique gas chromatographic (GC) detectors and custom built GC systems. Our detectors are based on the dielectric barrier discharge which provides a reliable and robust plasma source for GC detectors. Using the DBD plasma we build an helium ionization detector (HID), an argon ionization detector (AID), and a non-radioactive electron capture detector (ECD). In addition, we build a photoionization detector unique to the industry. We also build custom GC systems based on our detectors for applications ranging from trace constituents such as hydrogen in groundwater to refinery gas or synthetic gas applications.
