My name is Albane McGuinness. I am a French female photographer based in Kent. For the past twenty years I have lived in the UK developing my art and my portrait, wedding, events and commercial photography. My main passion is portrait photography. Be it a candid shot capturing a child’s moment lost in thought, or a groom being steadied by his best man, through to stage managed studio shots. I've been specialising in portrait and wedding photography for more than five years now and have built on my reputation of achieving great photos by working very closely with my subjects making every event or portrait session a collaboration of client and photographer. With my studio opening located at 72 Sandgate High Street, near Folkestone, clients are welcome to pop in, have a coffee, look through my portfolio and have a relaxed chat. This gives us a chance to really discuss packages, costs and the desired result before having to commit.

My aim is to capture the true essence of the people I photograph, be they unblemished newborn babies right through to seasoned adults. By way of pre-session consultation, together we can plan a personalised shoot that will result in stunning unique prints.

I employ a friendly unobtrusive technique when photographing parties, weddings and events and always focus on providing you with a beautiful and natural record of your special day.

In addition to taking candid photos, I also offer fun portrait sessions in my studio for kids, teenagers or for hen/stag parties as well as bodypainting/facepainting shoots.

For commercial photography I work closely with companies to ensure great looking pictures that conform to the company’s image and enhance their websites and literature.

All my photos can be supplied on DVDs, canvasses, freestanding 3D acrylic blocks, acrylic mounts or simply as coffee table photobooks or traditional prints. If you have any specific requirements, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I seek to capture the occasion mainly with spontaneous shots as this reportage style ensures a collection of creative photographs that truly show the magic and mood of your special day. Of course, more formal shots can be taken as well.
