Across from Harborside Hotel and Marina, you will find Alone Moose, an art gallery

showing wildlife sculpture in bronze and wood, functional and decorative pottery, gold and

silver jewelry, and other distinctive work by Maine artists including owner Ivan Rasmussen's

scenic and wildlife paintings. Sherry and Ivan are on hand to assist visitors and to continue

efforts in meeting and exceeding customer expectations with workshops, demonstrations

and special events. Celebrating 36 years on Bar Harbor's waterfront, the gallery presents a

mid-June show Three Dozen Brooches . . . Made in Maine inspired by Sherry's personal brooch

collection and Read My Pins by Madeleine Albright. Alone Moose is open Monday - Saturday,

some Sundays for special events, and daily for appointments May through October
