We work from an educational front to help dispell incorrect breed myths and teach others how to compassionately and responsiblly care for their dogs. APBF strives to drastically reduce the unneccessary euthanasia rate by assisting owners in financial crisis, and/or working through their problems with their family dogs to avoid owner surrender situations.

APBF firmly believes in working at the root of rescue problems to determine solutions and help break the cycle of overpopulation and the growing need for re-homing animals.
