AroundAbout Community Magazines, Inc. (ACM) began franchise operations in 2002 in Woodstock, Georgia. ACM franchises are hyper-local, direct-mailed monthly magazines, each with a mission of ???building a stronger community.???

ACM???s franchise operation came about as a direct result of the phenomenally successful flagship publication, AroundAbout-TowneLaker, which began publishing in 1996. AroundAbout-TowneLaker was the only magazine of its kind to feature positive and relevant information about the community it served. It soon became the ???go-to??? publication for the residents within its readership area. Expanding into other communities was a natural and welcomed development.
