ATAY AGRICULTURE was established in 2005 in Adana / TURKEY.

Our Founder and General Manager is Baser Holding Package and Petrochemistry Group Chairman Haluk BASER.

Our establishment objective is to produce new generation fertilizers appropriate for soils having high pH level, limy, salty and alcalic soils.

In result of RD studies conducted in collaboration between Atay Agriculture and the Faculty of Chemistry and Agriculture of Adana Cukurova University, a new generation of NPK Compound Granular Base and Drip Irrigation Fertilizers with contents of Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium Sulphate, Oxidized Sulphur, Magnesium, Zinc, Manganese, Iron, Copper and Calcium has been produced.

There are two reasons behind the production of New Generation Matador Fertilizers;

1.Alcalic Soils:

Agricultural production has being done on clay and lime rocks.

2.Desire of the Farmers:

Farmers who cultivate crops on these soils want to get the highest fertility per unit area.

CLASSICAL CHEMICAL COMPOUND BASE FERTILIZERS AND THEIR BEHAVIOURS ON ALCALIC SOILS (N.P. OR N.P.K.):

* Potassium in classical N.P.K base fertilizers contains 11,5% Chlorine.

* Its uptake by plants is very hard and uncontrolled.

* They cause salinity and aridity.

* They do not contain Sulphur and Trace Elements.

* Because of high level of pH and lime on limy soils, 90% of Phosphorus, 60-70% of Potassium is fixed in the soil.

* Plant nutrition elements such as Phosphorus, Zinc, Manganese, Iron and Boron can hardly take over 7,5/8 pH level.

NEW GENERATION MATADOR COMPOUND BASE FERTILIZERS

(N.P.K.+(SO4-2)+TE):

* They are produced to be appropriate for high pH level alcalic soils.

* They are Chlorine (salt) free and so, do not cause salinity. In contrast to causing salinity and aridity, they ameliorate the soil.

* Its source of Potassium is within the Sulphate form. It also contains oxidized Sulphur (SO4-2), which is an additional and essential nutrient for plants.

* They prolong cultivation life of our soils and prevent desertification.

* Owing to its Potassium Sulphate and Sulphur sources, it prevents the formation of duff layer on the soil.

* They help plant roots and tubers to work easily.

* In their structure, Nitrogen (N),Phosphorus (P2O5), Potassium (K2O) and trace elements which are insufficient in our region soils contain Zinc (Zn), Magnesium (Mg), Calcium (Ca) and trace amount of Iron (Fe), Manganese (Mn), Copper (Cu) are found.

Superior Chemistry Technology of Atay Agriculture: Trace element sources such as Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, Sulphur, Zinc, Magnesium, Calcium and other trace element sources are micronized with the help of our superior production technology and re-transformed into the granular form. Thus, it is possible to find N.P.K.S. and TE (ME) in each granule pellet.

Packing and Product Structure: 25 or 50 kg Jut laminated + PE inside bags, within the form of 2-4 mm granular form. Our packings are both in English and Arabic.
