Atlantic established was established in 1994 by Dan Kifner, primarily focusing on importing wines from France and Italy. In addition to having a distributors license in both New York and New Jersey, AWS established relationships with distributors from Maine to North Carolina. Atlantic Wine Imports specializes in bringing unique, value added wines and liquor to the market. AWS establishes and builds brands from around the world.

Working with our distributors is a key part of the successful sell through of AWS wines and liquors. Sales force and restaurant training is an import aspect of this principal and has always been the foundation of its success.

Since its inception Atlantic Wine Imports has expanded its services to include agent and consulting roles to it's customers.

Dan Kifner is Certified Specialist of Wine by the Society of Wine Educators. In September 2002 he was enthroned as a kinght the order of the Entonneurs Rabelaisiens, Chinon, France.
