Auto Gates Sdn. Bhd. was founded in Malaysia on the 1980. Over 30 years, Auto Gates has built up its formidable reputation as a manufacturer and distributor of high quality automation products. Our key automation products/parts include Transmitter, Gear Rack, Hinge Bearing, Bottom Roller, Nylon Guide, Solenoid Lock, Vibrator Ssensor, DC Motor, AC Coil and Electronic Control Panel.

Auto Gates was established in the 80's primarily as an agent for FAAC products; manufactured and imported from Italy. Auto Gates foresees that the company will continue to make a strong presence in Malaysia market through the improvement of existing products and therefore invested in the factory, workforce and research development as such to enable it to localize their production facility. Today, Auto Gates Industries Sdn. Bhd. employs for more than 50 people and export over 40% of its production to some key exporting markets like Thailand, Burma, Vietnam, Pakistan, Australia, Germany, Philippine, Qatar, Cambodia, India, Oman and Sri Lanka.

Milestone

1980 - Founded and established by Mr. Wong Kum Soon as an installer of FAAC products from Italy. In 1981, Auto Gates became the key distributor for FAAC products in the Malaysian market. Major projects include Tenaga Nasional (power plant), UEP (property developer), Housing Development as well as providing consultancy and architecture solution.

1985 - Major research and development were invested on system and products to support 'Buatan Malaysia' campaign and the process of reducing import for the Malaysian market. 1990 Auto Gates has invested substantial amount of funds into its factory, workforce and research development to develop a key brand called Le'tron (1985). Le'tron system's design and technology were then submitted for UK AUS MY trademark to be patented.

1990 - Our company has become one of Malaysia key integrated manufacturer of automation products.

1994 - The opening of Sri Damansara manufacturing plant.

1996 - The trademark for Celmer, G-Force and CEI which were intended to provide more features for sliding automatic gates system.

1998 - Auto Gates became a major distributor for automation products and has expanded its export markets to Sri Lanka, Thailand, Burma, Vietnam, Pakistan, Australia, Germany, Philippine and Qatar. Due to the massive demand and growth in the market, Auto Gates started mass producing and distributing its system in the early 1998.

2001 - 2003 Three Phase Sliding gate motor model OSK533 and Barrier gate system were out in the market for commercial us. It is a signature product which is remarkable for their innovation and artistry - contributing to a safer, more comfortable, more productive life.

2005 - G-Force Surface Mounting swing operators(SW700) were out to provide features that save energy using solar panel. Soon after, SW700 was modified to a D.I.Y. kit.

2008 - SW700 was modified to SW700i. To suit the modern trend by making a more compact version for folding gates.

2010 - Celmer Piston Style swing gate operator was created for residential use and folding gate.

2011 - Undergoing research and develop more features for automatic gates systems.
