To support our mission we fund the following programs:

1. School improvement grants to schools located in rural, poverty-impacted villages in Guatemala

2. Scholarships to Guatemalan students from rural villages wishing to continue their studies beyond 6th grade

3. Funding After-School Learning Centers to support students with special learning needs or who come from homes where the parents can neither read nor write.

Avivara currently supports eleven schools and over 1600 students in rural, poverty-impacted villages in Guatemala. It also provides scholarships to 40 students committed to continuing their studies.
