AZERBAIJAN HAZELNUT INDUSTRY

The Azeri hazelnut is grown from the Ata Baba cultivar, which has high oil content, and meets the requirements of the world blanched kernel market. It is very similar to the Giresun Quality Turkish hazelnut that is synonymous with optimum quality in Europe. This single cultivar produces a standard product that can be relied on for consistent size and quality.
