Beam Power Technology is an MIT technology startup company, founded in 2003 by an MIT research physicist, to commercialize a patented technology for use in high power, broadband wireless communication, commercial & military satellite communication, digital HDTV broadcast, military radar and advanced weapons systems, scientific research and radiation cancer therapy, X-ray sources for medical diagnostic, material analysis, and Homeland Security, and industrial processes such as semi-conductor manufacturing, welding, heating, curing and irradiation.
