Beaumont United Methodist Church, located in Spartanburg, S.C. has been the lifeline of this once thriving textile community. The Mill has been closed for several years but the congregation of the church with many lifelong members of the community continue their quest in caring for the members of the Textile Village. Their presence in the church gives meaning of a continuence of supporting the Mission of Jesus Christ mainly by caring for the poor and needy. This is also done by their financial tithes which go to the Apportionments paid to the SC United Methodist Conference which is figured annually for their fair share paid to support this Mission.
