This unique program gives everyone who auditions a part. It is an inclusive program that serves over 900 people a year and has ticket sales exceeding 6,500. The program is funded by the City of Bellevue and the Bellevue Youth Theatre Foundation. The program builds self esteem and confidence in youth and has won the Washington State Governors Arts Award, the National Parks and Recreation Dorothy Mullen Award, the Retired Senior Volunteers Award, the Washington State Recreation and Parks Program Spotlight Award, the Bellevue Barrier Buster Awards, and is part of the Youth Program Quality Assessment, a nation wide program.
