During the palmyrah toddy season from January to July each year, the excess toddy is collected from the taverns for distillation. the VARANI distillery has a patent still with a capacity of distilling 1350 L (3 00 gallons) of toddy per hour . The alcohol content of the distillate from patent still is 86 - 90 %( our proudct 100% pure palmyrah spirit)
