Beulah Foundation ("the Foundation") is a public, nonprofit charitable organization that develops and implements comprehensive programs and initiatives to empower individuals and families to improve their personal, social, intellectual, and financial circumstances. Based in Asheville, North Carolina, the Foundation's mission is to help the people it serves become better parents, stronger leaders over their own lives, free from various forms of bondage and more productive citizens. Shakanah Renewal Housing ("Shakanah") is a new foundation initiative that will provide transitional housing, substance abuse treatment and recovery, and ex-offender reentry services for adults in the western North Carolina.
