Program provides classroom studies taught by professional machinists in conjunction with on-the-job training by member companies. The apprentice must complete a four year program to receive the state journeyman certification.

Registered apprenticeship program with the Florida Department of Education, Office of Workforce Education, Apprenticeship and Continuing Workforce Education as part of the National Apprenticeship Program, in accordance with the standards recommended by the Florida Apprenticeship Advisory Council.
