Roxanne and I were attempting to have dinner on our deck one evening. The mosquitoes were so bad that we were chased into the house swatting the whole way. Discouraged, but determined to reclaim our outdoor living space we conceived the Bug Umbrella. With her creative input combined with countless hours in the shop, Bug Umbrella was born.

The Bug Umbrella is made USA. All of the sewing is done in Rhode Island, the machining of the frame and assembly are done in Connecticut.
