n the summer of 2005, Canron Delta was awarded the contract to supply and erect over 18,000 tonnes of structural steel for the expansion to the Convention Center in Vancouver, British Columbia. Subsequently, the supply and installation of the metal deck and a 90 metre long covered walkway (bridge) that connects the two part of the Convention Center was added to the contract.

The shape of the building is unique, and there are areas of geometry that have created challenges in order to satisfy all the criteria provided by the consultants.
