CHARAKTER's Mission is to incorporate the arts effectively into (1) worship, (2) education, and (3) evangelism; and to raise the standard of excellence in the Body of Christ as it relates to the arts.

Wesley Brainard, Founder and Artistic Director of CHARAKTER Ministry of the Arts, seeks to restore the effective use of dramatic arts to help audiences to understand and respond to the Father's invitation to enter His Kingdom. Through his dramatic presentations, Wesley provides his audience with a fresh perspective on God's Word and an increased hunger to study and meditate on what Scripture is saying to them. By taking the familiar and making it new, Wesley helps people overcome the intimidation of "Bible study" and makes Scripture accessible.

Wesley Brainard, our director, has been a guest on TBN (OKC), Daystar (Houston), KWHB - TV (Tulsa), and KTUL - TV (Tulsa). Wesley has shared in ministry in more than 300 churches large and small.
