Chocolate Bayou Baptist Church is a church passionate about

people. We are a church "under construction," just like most

people's lives. We don't claim to have everything figured out, but

we know the One who does. We are a church of imperfect people being perfected daily by Christ Jesus. Our pastor challenged us to become the most spiritually mature

church in Alvin, Texas and its surrounding communities. This is

not something that happens overnight. We believe this comes not only from a relationship with God and a knowledge of His

message to us...the Bible, but through active service to our

community.
