Working with our customer’s requirements, Columbia Plastics re-designed this regulator and tool holder for plastic injection molding. The tool holder was originally of a steel construction, so moving to a high impact polypropylene material not only made it more durable and able to withstand the most demanding conditions, but also lightweight (only 4 lbs), easily portable, and cost-effective. Additionally, the off-set handle incorporated in the design vastly improved the ergonomics of the holder, earning it the title of “The Industry’s Most Ergonomic Tool Holder.”
