Chris Taylor, is the person you’ll find behind the lens.

I was given my first camera at the age of eight and had my first photograph published in Autosport magazine when I was eleven.

My late father, the photographer Colin Taylor was a great influence in my career choice and we worked together for many years in CTP Photography. As a commercial photographer in Kent with more than 20 years of experience I have earned a high reputation for industrial, architectural, portrait, studio and location photography.

I have now taken the exciting step of launching my own ompany takenbychris. Although I am based in the South East of England, my assignments take me to locations throughout the UK and internationally. You will find me travelling with my pop-up studio, which fits into my large suitcase, doubling up as my gateway to Narnia!

Commercial photography and industrial photography has always been my passion. Although this is a wide area of photography it also covers commercial, industrial, studio, portraits,location, and architectural photography.

I like to offer my clients the attention to detail that I have learnt over the years, working closely and listening to the brief given.

We specialize in capturing the perfect image for manufacturers of smaller items, covering a wide variety from confectionary to kitchen utensils, irons to ironing boards and mowers to measuring tapes.

If it’s not convenient for you to bring your product to the studio, or you have a preferred location, we will set up our mobile photographic studio with backdrops and infinity roll, wherever required.
