Competent Home was established as a home furnishings company in India in 1972 and has been exporting to USA and Canada since 1989. Our traditional business model is based on manufacturing floor coverings like woven and tufted carpets, rag rugs (Chindi dhurries), and bath rugs. Based on the request of our esteemed buyers we ventured into manufacturing of cushions, table linen, throws and curtains in early 90s and have done extremely well that this has now become our core competency also. Our greatest strengths are superior quality and product detailing as per the trends.
