DancEncounters has been in business since 1997, and is dedicated to making social dance accessible to all. There are social dances 3 nights per week, and sometimes 4. The Ballroom Social is on Mondays fro 7 - 10 pm, the Argentine Tango Dance is on Sunday night from 7 - 10 pm, and The Swing Dance is Friday night from 8 - 11 pm. Costs range from $7 - $10 per night. There are classes 7 days a week, and all the teachers are available for private lessons.

The popular Drop-In classes take place Sunday through Thursday, and require no notice or commitment.

DancEncounters is located in the historic Hungerford Building. There's plenty of well-lit parking, and it is convenient to major roads.
