Cabernet-Shiraz

From a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz grapes.

Appearance

Dark red in colour with light purple rim, it shows good viscosity with distinct legs.

Smell

Intense black currants with a hint of tomato bush followed by raspberries, dusty, fennels, sweet fruit and spicy character.

Taste

The wine is fresh with intense black currants and black olives. It shows a spicy character with a hint of pencil shavings, coffee and chocolate. The wine is mouth filling with slightly coarse dry tannins. Overall the wine is well balanced with good tannins and a mix of primary fruit and developed flavours. Drink now or will develop well with 2 years of bottle maturation

This is a full-bodied wine with soft tannins and a delicate spicy taste

Very clean and fresh with intense fruit such as raspberries, sweet (lollies) confectionary character and blackberries; spicy with dusty and supple tannins. A well balanced wine with complex bouquet with a very good length.

The wine is very fruity with intense spice, black currants, black olives, tomato bush with hints of capsicum and dusty rose.

Taste

The wine is complex with intense black currants; herbaceous with developed characters like chocolates, pencil shavings. The tannins are velvety and mouth filling.

Medium to full bodied wine; complex with good length; it will improve in the bottle with 1-2 years bottle maturation.
