Xenon-HID is an abbreviation of Xenon High Intensive Discharge.And it can also be called High power xenon metal halide lamp or Xenon lamp.Its luminous principle is that there are full of different kinds of chemical gases into a UV-cut crystal quartz glass tube,most of which are Xenon,iodide and other inert gases.And then using the Xenon_HID ballast from 220V to the starting voltage to simulate the xenon free electrons in the quartz tube and finally produce electro-discharge light source between two electrodes.And this is so-called gas discharge.The power generated by xenon is greatly over than the common HID lamps(such as Metal halide lamp),so that it will widen the range of color temperature and increase color-rendering index.Xenon-HID radiates out nearly the same spectrum as the sun and produces higher light effect than that of other light sources,which meets the energy-saving requirements of our country.
