The most effective way to investigate the cause of drainage issues is to carry out a CCTV survey. Using this method (occasionally alongside other technologies), we are able to pinpoint the precise location and cause of problems and if further works should be required to rectify any issues, these can be undertaken with the minimum of disruption, making it more cost effective.

It is fast becoming a requirement from mortgage companies that CCTV surveys be undertaken prior to house purchase.

The ‘no-dig’ technology. Not only does lining a drain drastically reduce the amount of excavation required and in most cases eliminated it completely, it is also a more cost effective remedy. Lining can be used to repair entire runs from manhole to manhole or patch lining to cover open joints or holes. The combination of lining and excavation enables us to provide a comprehensive answer to almost all drainage run problems.

The technique of lining involves the insertion of a thin walled, resin impregnated polyester felt tube, inside the existing drain. Once the resin has cured this leaves a new drain within the old.

Lining can be used under any surface and can also be used to line pipes which may run under the foundations of buildings. It is possible to line drain runs with lateral connections although this is a more complex process.

This technology is constantly moving on and we ensure we keep up to date with all the new developments..

It is not always possible to avoid excavation but we are able to minimise it. Whether it is the replacement of a gully or a complete pipe run, you can be sure that the work will be carried out to the very highest standard. The site will be left as we found it wherever practicably possible and in some cases you will not know that any work has been carried out.

We are able to replace collapsed pipework, repair damage caused by root ingress and displaced joints, install new soakaways and repair or install new chambers.

Quite a common cause of blockages in drains is root ingress. Roots from trees, hedges and shrubs find their way into the drainage system through any weakness to the structure of the pipe, cracks open joints etc. Using high pressure water jetting and cutting jets most roots can be removed. Depending on the condition and structure of the pipe this can then be relined to seal the pipe and prevent further ingress. In some cases excavation work may be required to repair any structural damage to chambers.

Not just limited to patio and driveway cleaning but any large area with slabs, blocks or concrete. A specialist attachment to the high pressure water jetting unit will effectively clean everyday grime from these surfaces.
