Jean Edde, the founder of Edde Almond Paste Inc., has been in the bakery industry since 1968. He started with a chain of bakery and pastry shops and was buying Almond Paste from Europe. Realizing that Almond Paste was not manufactured in Canada, he decided in 1989 to open the first factory in Canada to manufacture Almond Paste. He toured Europe to bring the latest technology from Germany.

In the upcoming years, Edde Almond Paste Inc. has grown into a manufacturer of a full line of bakery ingredients. The products meet the highest standards satisfying the chef Jean Edde, having 40 years of field experience!
