As along time knife aficionado, Marshall Thompson began collecting knives at age 7. This began, as did with most boys, the road to becoming a man. From there, the journey began.

After many years of collecting and using various types of knives for hunting, fishing, work, or just sitting around and whittling, Marshall began working in the knife industry in 2005 as a customer service representative with a local knife distributor in the retail showroom. This life and career experience further drove the desire to one day establish his own retail knife and cutlery store.

On April 17, 2010 Edges Knives & Collectibles was born. Located one block off the "Square" in beautiful Historic downtown Moultrie, Ga.

Edges was published in November 2010 issue of Shooting Industry Magazine by Massad Ayoob in his Lethal Force editiorial.
