The Educational Therapy Center specializes in teaching to students who have struggled academically. Our methodology was designed to teach dyslexic students to read and spell using the Orton-Gillingham method. Howeover, this multisensory method has been successfully used for over 50 years as it teaches the elements of our language that a student has missed for what ever reason. A multisensory math program has also been added using the curriculum of Math U See. Multisensory methods are also used to ensure that our students "get" math and can remember it beyond the test. An initial assessment will help pinpoint a students areas of weakness among a sea of strenths. Don't assume your student is just being lazy. There could be an underlying learning difference.

Our tutors are well trained in multisensory teaching methods. Individualized sessions meet the needs of students of all ages. Instruction will go as fast as possible but as slow as necessary.
