Escaut Valley BVBA is a new Belgian company, specialized in the development and production of bakery ingredients. New as a company, but with a very experienced management.

The managers worked for many years as Product Development Manager and Export Manager for one of the largest producers of yeast, bread improvers and bakery mixes worldwide.

The expertise acquired was primarily used for the development of a range of bread improvers and bread and pastry mixes. Quality gets the highest priority, but with the price / quality ratio in mind. For most products, a concentrated premix is available; this premix has to be mixed locally with commodity products that do not affect the final quality of the product (eg soy flour, sugar, starch, ...).

The cooperation of Escaut Valley BVBA and a Chinese yeast producer has led to products of excellent quality. Both for lean and high sugar dough there is a high quality yeast available. Early 2012 a project was started in which the yeast was combined with the concentrated bread improver produced in Belgium. This resulted in two products that can compete quality wise with the already available brands. This 2-in-1 yeast can be offered at very competitive price.

All products are manufactured according to international standards: ISO 9001, BRC, HACCP, HALAL products can also be offered.
