Nature of business Established in 1988 EDMR are the leading repairer of specialist motors and drives in the UK. Areas of expertise include all types of variable speed motors including AC & DC servo, high speed spindle, stepper, disk, DC shunt and Schrage motors, as well as conventional squirrel cage motors. EDMR represents and supplies a number of manufacturer's products including AEG, Contraves, Danaher Motion (including Kollmorgen, Pacific Scientific & Superior Electric), Oemer, Servomac, TEC and Vascat. A full in-house electronic repair facility for drives, inverters and power supplies compliments our motor services. EDMR has extensive field service personnel enabling on-site service when required. Preventative maintenance is also provided including vibration analysis and thermographic surveys. In 2008 EDMR took over the running of the former MTS Industrial Ltd based in Wellingborough strengthening the company's electro-mechanical services to include all types of LV and MV motors, pumps, fans and gearboxes. EDMR maintains an extensive stock of new and refurbished motors and drives. A large supply of spares and parts is available from stock, including a range of popular tachogenerators and encoders. EDMR supports all types of industries with in-depth experience of machine tools (including Fanuc and Siemens) and printing (Baumuller & Komori). All services provided by EDMR are provided 24-7-365 with out of hours service being handled by our call centre. EDMR is ISO 9001:2008 registered.
