Our Coasters work for both Hot & Cold drinks absorbing any condensation before it can get to your table. The water then starts evaporating allowing the coaster to dry out.This works much the same way as when your sidewalk dries out after a rain storm.

Our Trivets work the same way as our coasters but for larger items such as serving dishes, beverage pitchers, and even house plants. We don't recommend them for dishes right off a hot burner or right out of a hot oven. The concrete stays cool and putting a dish straight from a heat source like a burner or oven can cause damage due to extreme differences in temperatures. Let the dish stand for 5-10 minutes until it's ready to be served, then in your serving area place the dish on the Trivet and it will absorb any heat and/or condensation prod
