There are so many shades of gray in our world. Sometimes it's difficult to distinguish between what's right and what's wrong, much alone what's up and what's down. There is no moral uncertainty in the kitchen, though. It's making something out of nothing with your hands. Using flour and eggs, you may make pasta, cookies, or anything else. It alters the flavor of a dish by adding a dash of vanilla, vinegar, or anything else that strikes you. Creating your own destiny.
