George Ball of Burpee is heavily involved in the horticulture industry and is currently the Chairman of the Burpee Foundation and a trustee of New York’s Horticultural Society. While working at the company, he has launched hundreds of varieties of fruits, vegetables, and flowers. In recognition of his work, George Ball of Burpee received an honorary Doctor of Science degree from Delaware Valley University for his contributions and accomplishments within the industry. George Ball, Burpee’s CEO and Chairman has dedicated his career to horticulture and given back to the communities he serves.
