Geumsan Ginseng Wine is brewed from five years old ginseng

(known as having medicinal effects)produced in its origin, rice, malt and clean mineral water in a traditional way ever since 14th century under a cool atmosphere. Geumsan ginseng wine has own unique lingering aroma and flavour, and they are different from the others wines which are simply ginseng flavoured So-ju or distilled liquor.

Geumsan Ginseng Wine was initially developed by a noble family of Kim, Moon-Ki, well known as the father of the Ginseng Wine from 14th C, and has long been brewed in a traditional way handed down from generation to generation.

Geumsan ginseng folk liquor was selected as a toast wine for the summit meeting of ASEM 2000 in Seoul, and it was highly appreciated.

At the 'Youngbin-Kwan' in the Blue House(the Korean Presidential residence), ASEM's dinner will be set up 20 on Oct,2000. It may be a golden oppertunity to let many international guests of honor know Korea's culture. So menu made up traditional food. But especially flat-ware will be ready for various, fork, spoon, knife and chopsticks. And we also offer Geumsan Insamju for drinking a toast and quiet drink for desert.
