Dave Helt, owner of Helt Builders, LLC, was born and raised on a Dane County farm. Graduated from Sauk Prairie High School. Dave worked in home building construction for 5 years before starting his business in 1979.

Dave's business has evolved to include all agricultural aspects. Dave and his crew have completed projects that include 300 cow freestalls, manure handling situations, farmstead equipment for freestalls, trench silos, flat work for silo bags, grooved cow yards and fenceline feeding that include selflocks.
