All HSM products are made using EPS (expanded polystyrene) foam wrapped in a proprietary fiber reinforced cement mixture. HSM, LLC developed this proprietary cement mixture with the assistance of UW-Milwaukee. The nature and content of the foam core yields the insulating properties and contributes to the beam-like qualities inherent in each panel.
