Independent Machine Company started business in 1975. We are an OEM manufacturer & supplier of EMD & GE locomotive gear cases, pilot plows, wear plates misc. items. We are ISO 9001:2008 and AAR M1003 certified. We are also home of the "Iron Horse" portable wheel lathe.
