MISSION STATEMENT

Indianapolis School of Ballet (ISB) advances professional ballet and dance education in our community through world-class training and dynamic performances provided in a culturally diverse environment designed for the continual physical, intellectual and artistic growth of all dancers.

ISB:

*PROVIDES classical ballet training steeped in American Classicism with a special emphasis on the technique, aesthetic and repertoire of George Balanchine.

*BELIEVES ballet training is a physical and intellectual experience that transfers to life opportunities.

*STRIVES to encourage a life-long involvement in the arts.

*OFFERS financial scholarships to students in need and merit scholarships for students excelling in ballet who wish to pursue a career in the field.
