Paulina Rodriguez-Ortega is owner and director of the Instituto Latinoamericano. Her business provides Spanish classes and tutoring in Wake County Public Schools, area businesses, and local churches.

Ms. Rodriguez is a native Spanish speaker from Colombia. She is a knowledgeable and caring instructor that has successfully taught students of all ages from kindergarten to seniors.

While living in Bogota, Colombia, Ms. Rodriguez received her BA degree in Social Sciences from Universidad Pedagogica Nacional and later a law degree from Universidad Autonoma. She taught in Bogota's high schools from 1982-1991. From 1992-2000, she worked as an attorney and a judge. Since 2003, she has taught as a part-time instructor in Wake Tech. She is a licensed Spanish instructor in North Carolina.
