In 2003, Karin established her own professional architectural practice, where she designs residential, medical, commercial and institutional projects. Her designs start with the site: the particular way the sun circles a building, how the building inhabits the streetscape, and the relationship of the building to nature. Her architectural approach is one of collaboration, with those who design and build the building and with those who will inhabit it. As such, Karin's designs personify the delicate interplay of beauty and function.

Karin is a licensed architect in New York and Connecticut as well as LEED-Certified professional.
