Founded in London, UK in the 1960's the Group has grown to become the multi-national company that today presides at the forefront of food trading around the world.

The Group remains headquartered in London, England with 14 overseas offices including the USA, Holland, Brazil, Russia and China.

The Lamex Food Group is one of the biggest import/export companies in the global poultry market and is today the biggest (non-producing) exporter of Brazilian poultry in the world. Our achievements in other product areas are also considerable and put the Lamex name at the forefront of the global trade in honey, fruit and vegetables.

In 2009 the Lamex seafood division was formed, further diversifying the company's business scope. Lamex continue to add new product lines which leverage the company's local expertise and global sales platform.
