MSCPL owns a shipyard for small vessels at 100 KM south of Kolkata. At present MSCPL is building 5 nos of steel hull ferry vessels. Company also carrying out drydocking of tug boats barges. Also one mini bucket dredger is under construction.

Two dumb barges are also shortly started.
