Tim McMaster has been an expert in oriental carpet cleaning, repair and appraisals for over 30 years. He has 25 years as Senior Member with the American Society of Appraisers, specializing in oriental carpets.

In 1996, he started the Garuda Woven Art carpet factory in Nepal in order to manufacture handwoven area rugs the traditional way: by using high quality materials, 100% natural dyes and no chemical washes, treatments or glues.

As a result, our rugs are beautiful, resilient, eco-friendly and do not out-gas with a strong chemical odor as many new rugs do.
