The New York design firm Mike + Ally creates and manufactures jewelry pieces for the home environment. Their products can be found in the home accessories, bath, boudoir and tabletop markets. Each article is made from cast pewter, 14k gold or silver electroplate. The design process is not complete until their signature hand enamel is meticulously applied in their New York City studio.

Unlike other teens, Ally knew at an early age the direction she would be heading. She was accepted to Washington University Fine Arts School and studied metalsmithing under the tutelage of master Scandinavian craftsman; Heiki Seppa. She spent most of this period perfecting abstract and technical design. After receiving her BFA in metal, Ally launched her career at Cartier Jewel
