The name, Moms Who Golf, was inspired when co-founder Scott Pierson introduced the game of golf to his then 83-year old mother and co-founder, Dorothy Pierson, and discovered that she was willing and eager to take up the sport as an octogenarian. This lead to a further discovery that women are the fastest-growing segment of a sport once dominated by males.

Moms Who Golf gives 10% of its proceeds to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research.

Moms Who Golf sponsors women's golfing events and fundraisers by providing items for pin prizes at no charge and discount coupons for league members and tournament participants. We are currently involved with Rally for a Cure and Executive Women's Golf Association events throughout the country.
